The Jello Jugend

The Jello Youth is the all-encompassing youth organization in the Jello Alliance. It is open to both boys and girls, ages 6-18. There are three branches, the Junior Jello Jugend, from ages 6-10, the Jello Jungvolk, from ages 10-14, and the Jello Jugend, ages 14-18. The genders are separated; however; as girls will have some different tasks and trades available.

All the branches have certain aspects in common, the emphasis of physical fitness, loyalty and citizenship, outdoor survival and expedition training, leadership, wobbling, military training and weapons training (military and weapons training are only offered in the Jungvolk and Jello Jugend). In the local units, the Jugend gain rank and responsibility with training and good work. It is youth leading youth, instilling the values of the nations of the Jello Alliance and the core values and ideals, while working to make better, stronger, more wise and knowledgeable children, who will one day become the adults who will take over and lead this glorious land.

There are several different branches of the JelloJugend that boys can join according to their interests, which are the Marine-Jugend, the Waffen-Jugend, the Motor-Jugend, the Musik-Jugend, the Wobble-Jugend and the SS-Jugend. Each element will get, in addition to the standard program, a specialised program related to their chosen service. Within the elements, the Jugend can also choose a specilalised trade to learn skills from. For example, a boy interested in cars may choose the Motor-Jugend and take an engine mechanic’s trade. These trades are done both in the local unit and through regional weekend and holiday camps. The girls program works in a similar way, but with more female-oriented trades, such as sewing for an army and cooking your sauerkraut to perfection, and only one element, the JelloMadelJugend.

There are adults supervising the youth, but the youth do a major part of the day- to-day work, teaching, planning, supervising and such. It is part of how they learn.
